Math-for-industry Education&Research Hug

The MI Preprint Series publicizes the latest research achievements as a preprint.

The MI Lecture Note Series is the successor to the COE Lecture Note Series, which was published as part of the 21st Century COE Program Development of Dynamic Mathematics with High Functionality, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology-Japan (MEXT) (2003 _ 2007).
　The MI Lecture Note Series reports lectures given by scholars invited under the following two programs: Training Program of Ph.D. and New Master’s in Mathematics as Required by Industry, adopted as a Support Program for Improving Graduate School Education by MEXT (2007 _ 2009); and Education and Research Hub for Math-for-Industry, newly adopted as a global COE Program by MEXT (2008-2012).

We launched an electronic journal, Journal of Math-for-Industry (JMI), which is published at the institutional repositories. JMI swiftly and internationally publicizes achievements in education and research on MI.

We periodically publish newsletters (in Japanese) to update the status and progress of our Global COE Program, Education and Research Hub for Math-for-Industry.
